Had it not been for the forced track listing by Warner Brothers omitting songs and establishing remixes, this would be in the RYM top 100.

Yeah and if it sounded better
No one cares faggot
Protip, the remixes sound better
If it wasn't for rockism you wouldn't give a shit about literally anything you're talking about.
Some albums above TSB:
>Agaetis Byrjun
>Dummy
>Souvlaki
>Siamese Dream
>Yankee Hotel Foxtrot
>The Lonesome Crowded West
>The Downward Spiral
I mean, seriously?
None of those deserve to be above TFL's magnum opus.

This is one of my favourite album and I wish more people knew about the vinyl (aka unfucked) version as literally every criticism I've ever seen has been about Warner Bros' bullshit which the band had no say in and is not how it's supposed to listened to.
also
>tfw wayne has completely doubled down on his awkward midlife crisis and seems to be practically parodying himself at this point

Good lord I just listened to the CD after only listening to whatever version is on youtube, and the very first song gave me ear cancer with the flanging effect on the vocals

lonesome crowded west definitely does

filing this under "instances where RYM was actually right"

I love West, but you have to be joking.
It drags on and some tracks are significantly more boring than others.
Yes, it has several 10/10 moments, but nothing near the heights of What Is The Light?, The Spiderbite Song, etc. TFL are unrivaled cosmic explosions of color, sonically speaking.
I never would have even listened to that album more than once if I didn't see it got that Pitchfork score and it still wasn't impressive. Yoshimi is much more consistent than it.
