Usually a 5/10 for me is 1-3 listenable songs and the rest is trash.

Mainstream pop albums would be good for this.

Most aren't that great but it's usually at least fine as background noise.

It hurts my heart to agree with you. I have never been impressed by an album front to back. Each has a few fucking incredible tracks ... the rest are skip worthy.

5/10 is par for me. Very few albums overall make it to 6, 7, and above.

Most albums in existence occupy somewhere from a 2(excessively bad) to a four (offensively bad).

Apathy gets a 1/10 because if music isn't stimulating me then it might as well not exist in the first place.

The original comment I was going to type was that nobody ultimately cares about someone else's ratings system and that asking everyone for 5/10's is fundamentally stupid due to self-imposed rating systems, but decided against it.

I was rating it against 77, MSAB, Fear of Music, Remain In Light and True Stories.
I'd bump to at least 6.5
But I stand by this being a 5.
