Is Jeff Lynne the best songwriter who ever lived? Or are there people slightly better than him?
I see no one is able to argue against the mighty Jeff. It's sad really
ELO albums fucking blow outside of the singles. The man mainly wrote filler

What do you honestly not like about ELO?
Dude I fucking love ELO. Out of the Blue and Time are flawless imo

Jeff Lynne is probably one of the best. He took a lot of good cues from his influences and made some of the best rock/pop music so far. I love Sweet Talking Woman and Showdown and Telephone Line to this day. Grew up on his music and as an adult I've learned to love it even more. Xanadu has a 10/10 soundtrack as well (and Olivia Newton John <3). Very underrated in my book as one of the best artists of the 70's and of pop/rock.
