I have no experience in music and I want to learn how to play

All instruments can play happy songs. It's not the instrument, but the notes. If you like the sound of a particular instrument and think it's "happy", pick that one. Nobody else can tell you what happy sounds like to you.

Yea I guess, what I meant is that I don't like things like the sax where it's mostly known for blues, harmonica = western, violin = sad, etc...

Why bother learning any instrument other than piano? It's one of the few instruments that actually works well to perform solo on, and it's easily the best instrument to compose original music on.

If you're already a pretty good pianist then sure, have fun learning some other instruments but piano should probably always be the starting point.
