I recently found a channel that lists all the samples that albums use, obviously mostly Hip-hop. I've watched a lot of the videos on Kanye West albums and he uses a lot of Gospel and (not sure if Im getting the genre right) afrobeat? Dancehall?
Anyway to get to the point I'm interested in the learning about the original artists. Are there any charts for Gospel or whatever the style of music Kanye tends to sample? Any stand out artists or groups I could start with?
