>can't reach those low notes
Can someone with formal singing knowledge give me some tip or tutorial for improving my low range just a little bit so I can get to the range of Chet Baker?

Range is pretty much natural. I'm not necessarily "formally" trained but I've been singing for awhile. Rather than trying to alter your voice to fit a song, just try to find a song or make a song in your range. You will never sound your best trying to go out of it.

Also, I'm curious what song you're trying to sing, I love singing Chet Baker, interestingly enough was recommended to me by my voice teacher that i only went to for about a month. Told me I should practice singing the songs off of Chet Baker Sings, has been a favorite album of mine since.

>You kissed me and went on your way
>The night we called it a day
That's the part where I have struggle to sing the night we called a day

Relatively speaking, the notes are all pretty close together. If you can't hit those few notes, the rest of the song is too close to the edge of your lower register for you to sound good. Try singing My Ideal off of Chet Baker Sings

I'll check it out
