What do you guys think about Venetian Snares? I first listened

Circle Pit got me into breakcore/jungle as a genre; I'm definitely leaning towards Detrimentalist, Posers and Camera Phones, and the Chocolate Wheelchair Album as my favorite albums by him.

i'm a huge fan of Cavalcade of Glee and Dadaist Happy Hardcore Pom Poms. it's got this very "sour" but also very bright synth sound I've literally never heard on any other record ever, it's reminiscent of a lot of chiptunes music as well as a lot of old school trance and electro but way spiffier and fuller bodied. The only records that come to mind with this sound are metal records, like Absu's s/t, Sigh's Imaginary Sonicscape and to a lesser extent Boris' Amplifier Worship

first heard it on my brothers old mp3 player alongside Squarepusher. main reasons i like breakcore and idm in general, so unreal compared to other music

Traditional Synthesiser Music is the best album he has released in years

i've gone through pretty much all his stuff, been in a constant search for breakcore with drum programming anywhere near his level
