I don't know if he's a furry or not but his music is really good. I was a fan back when he only had less than 1000 listeners on last.fm. That's my biggest music claim to fame.

I literally have Will's same age, and his lyrics just make me cringe. You should be past that level of angst once you're on your mid-20s.

my friends like this guy and i do not get it at all. he's insufferable and his music isn't BAD but it isn't anything special. he has a few good songs but who the heck doesn't

He doesn't even try to break boundaries, Teen of Denial is just solid mopey indie rock.

For some, Teens of Denial was just flavor-of-the-month rock they had to rave about. For me personally though, I really connected with some of his earlier stuff, namely Twin Fantasy and How To Leave Town. I'd recommend those over ToD any day. I've also heard My Back Is Killing Me Baby is good, but I haven't listened to it yet.
