Even the simple, more poppy jazz music of the 20s is more sophisticated overall than the most sophisticated of post-50s pop like Beatles, King Crimson, and Radiohead. What went so wrong?

Beatles stopped touring just to seriously focus on music. Fripp is serious to the extent he sits down live and doesn't let others look at his music. OKC and Kid A are still the most ambitious works they have done. Wtf are you on?
