A lot of the 7 rated albums are worth listening to. Nobody seems to realize that even though his Beatles review is pretty scathing in the text, he still gives quite a few of their albums a 7 or above out of 10, which according to his own criteria/scale means buy it eventually, as in you should eventually hear this if you call yourself a rock music fan.

Honestly, I just don't know how to find new music very well so I use /mu/ and reviews as a way to look at albums that are being discussed. Far too much music exist nowadays and unfortunate as it is, I don't have the free time to listen to music from every artist that falls under a genre I enjoy. Most of what I find now is through bands Spotify recommends I check out with the "Discover weekly" playlist. Usually find 3 or 4 new bands for ever 20 songs it suggest.
