Is it possible to stay anonymous as a musician in this day and age without a gimmicky mask? I'd imagine you'd have to never do live shows or interviews but is there anything else one can do to secure their anonymity?

I think it would be next to impossible to actually get popular that way without someone else hyping and promoting the fuck out of it for you. Artists now largely communicate through social media; without that you'd be fucked.
