I've been a musicbee user for years, but now that I've switched to linux I can't find a music player as good as musicbee
Any linux users can rec me something?

I think the auto tagging functionality would be the most important point

Im using musicbee rn.
Its so fucking stupid that albums that have a shit ton of artists get split into their own album.
Is there a fix?

use the "album artist" tag to organize your library
not the "artist" tag

You can get musicbee going on wine. Google it.
Wine is underutilized.

this
puddletag for (semi-)automatic tagging
you can also use mpd + ncmpcpp
you won't find anything as good as musicbee
but there's is no need for complex functionality most of the time

>needlessly complex
>time-consuming
only if you're an idiot
