What makes Kendrick Lamar a good musician? He doesn't write his own lyrics. He doesn't produce his own music. He can't compose a song. He has no knowledge of music theory. He can't play a single instrument and I highly doubt he can read sheet music. He's pretty good at talking fast though I guess.

He does write his own lyrics. He composes his songs insofar he lays the general structure of verses, choruses and features. I don't even like hip hop.
