What's the point of practicing and getting good at guitar when you could spend your time buying pic related, a few reverb and delay pedals, getting a female vocalist (bonus points if she's japanese), play some suspended and open chords and start releasing bland shoegaze songs to get rich?

Why do that when you could get literally any cheap guitar, run it through some boutique 'oscillation distortion' pedals or some shit, get a punk drummer, and call it noise rock?
