Why do musicians who kill themselves make the best music?
What are they trying to tell us?

Deeply troubled people are the most poetic and the best of expressing their pathos. Also people overrate the music of people who've killed themselves
Happy, well-adjusted people are physically incapable of making good art.

Emotional music resonates deeply with many listeners, especially those who enjoy more modern Pop styles like Rock music. People react even more strongly to the music/singing/lyrics they find to be genuine and sincere and if an artist who sings about being emotionally unstable or depressed actually goes and kills themselves this kind of proves their emotion to have been genuine all along.

It's what I call, "The Suffering Artist" Effect. Those whose lives are filled with hardship make amazing art because the only way they can express how the feel in a socially acceptable way is through art. Hence those who suffer create amazing music.
