Most artists don't really want to be on social media half the time. It is an obligation they have to be kept on the label, having an active presence. Varg hasn't really got anything better to do if he's not touring or making music which allows for a little more than cursory tweets.

Islam teaches to fight against injustice, but it lacks universality. Christianity has both. It's no coincidence that Christian cultures are the ones that came up with the concept of "human rights".

Also in Christianity, the hero, Jesus, is a Socrates and Marduk-like figure who ascends to the top not by conquest, but by speech. Makes a big difference, just contrast societies that worship Muhammad vs the Buddha.

Christianity also places the truth as a very high virtue, which ironically led to Christianity killing itself, because the west criticized Christianity to death with the pursuit of truth Christianity made it value so highly in the first place.
