There's monsters in DND called the Sons Of Kyuss. That was the band's name after they changed it from Katzenjammer, and then they shortened it to Kyuss.
Which is pronounced like Pious.

How does QOTSA even fall under "stoner rock", they sound like every other watered down buttrock band out there. Not even a tenth as interesting as Kyuss.

I really like both

I wasn't really able to get into QotSa but Welcome to Sky Valley is an album I love. QotSa repeats teh riffs and it feels empty. Kyuss does the same thing but for some reason I like it. Maybe it's just better riffs.
