it might be mu core but its one of the most non-surface-level psych albums ever made. it has none of the traditional aesthetics of psych (fuzz / studio effects / """""trippy"""""" electronic stuff)

I would say Strictly Personal is a much more psychedelic album than Safe as Milk, Just because the songs are longer, more stretched out, have more weird shit going on in them, and have a phaser thrown on top of it all.
