You should be proud of seeking out obscure artists. Artists become popular because people listen to obscure artists and then share them with other people. Some obscure artists don't become popular, but they might still be great and they deserve to be listened to by at least a few. Everything about listening to obscure artists is a good thing.

Listening to popular artists is a good thing too, but the things I just mentioned make listening to obscure artists good in the same way that listening to popular artists is good in addition to the things that make listening to obscure artists good.

Most the people I know act like theres "real artists" and unknown artists
It gets frustrating when you find some talented artist and people dont give them a chance
