Why do artists hate their own songs?

That might be it, yeah. On the other hand, though, you have Noel Gallagher, who is also basically forced to play Wonderwall at every gig, who said in an interview that no matter how much you've played a certain song, having thousands of people chanting it with you every night is always a fantastic feeling.
