>so when did you grew out of metal?
I thought it was just a meme, apparently not. I still listen to metal time to time, but it got boring.
Anyone else felt this? I can't take metal serious anymore. I think it's bit edgy.

>apparently not
apparences are deceiving. it IS a meme
Most people's tastes will grow and develop over time, I don't think it's exclusive to metal.
I don't listen to metal as much as I did as a teen but that's more a result of my tastes expanding into other genres. I don't think I'd ever flat-out stop listening to an entire genre if the music itself is still good.

I get you and I agree. I still listen to some metal, like Neurosis, Isis and so on. I listen to prog too. But I personally can't relate to the metal genre anymore.
