Let's be honest with ourselves, is Ambient even music?
There is no melody, rythem or lyricism involved, it is just slow drones that build to nothing. Would we call the background noise to Fallout 1 'music'?
Im not saying that it doesn't take skill to make or that you are a dolt for liking it but why are we calling it music
