well, to be honest most of the things that come from LATAM are just ripoffs of anglo/european acts. there are some exceptions tho but you have to dig deep. i'm not familiar with eastern acts at all besides maybe Japan.

what's some jap music other than folk that's unique to them? everything i've heard, good or not, has been them copying western styles.
