Naked City - Torture Garden

Good Morning Good Night, not only because I can't grasp why people enjoy it but also why that one in particular is posted all the time.

I honestly have no clue what to make of this album.

You figure someone with some artistic merit would be able to make something cohesive with a decent narritive, but this is just all over the place. There's supposed to be an overacring theme to the album that also ties into the artwork as some sort of answer to the riddle it poses, but from anyone's best guess i think he was diddled at a circus when he was a kid and this was his coping mechanism.

There are some good cuts on the album though (especially the selected readings and These Boots Were Made for Walking), but it's really tough to sit through it in one go because it literally has zero direction.
