This
I woke up from a nap with "Un mundo de gente incompleta" in my mind and this huge feeling of void. So I had to play this today.

Possibly my favorite Spanish album: perfect blend of 90's indie rock, noise pop and some neo-psychedelia. Sometimes heavy. Sometimes post-rocky. Nice lyrics.

I pay $10 a month for Spotify so you're fine my guy.

>>74517661
how have you not heard of that before
if you're at all into black metal that's like step one
or are you young and just getting into black metal
>>74517699
i'm 25 and been into metal, power metal mostly since i was a kid
a friend sent me Blood Fire Death when i was around 15 and that was pretty much the extent of my black metal exposure, until a few years later when i got into dark ambient
i actually found out about burzum then, but hlidskjalf was 'enough' for me at the time and i didn't check out any of the other albums until this year, and im kicking myself for not doing so sooner
i wish i could say my curiosity was purely about the music, but partly it was because the cover art looks so fantastic, and partly because i became interested in varg
anyway what i'm getting at is, i am pretty new to this kind of music so i would appreciate any suggestions that you care to offer

Recs
>>74517887
aight, well if you havent already Det Som Engang Var and Filosofem are Burzum essentials
Satyricon - Dark Medieval Times
Emperor - In the Nightside Eclipse
Gorgoroth - Under the Sign of Hell
Mayhem - De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas
Also all BM classics^
Other bands I've liked: Leviathan, 1349, Bethlehem, Blut Aus Nord, Borknagar, Celestia, Hypothermia, Trist, Krohm, Laster, Lunar Aurora, Lyrinx, Paysage d'Hiver, Tsjuder, Walknut
Other 'trve kvlt' classics are Mutiilation, Vlad Tepes, Belketre, Torgeist
that should be enough to push you along i think
if you like Dark Ambient I recommend Funeral Doom Metal as a genre though. i also like dark ambient and FDM is my favorite metal genre

you wouldn't know
I'm bored, alone, and tired as hell. I hate this city so damn much, but I've trapped myself in the system. I would be a dead homeless person if I ever tried to skip out.
Hope everyone's nights are swell, don't mean to bring anyone down.

I WANNA KNOW IF YOU CAN GET TO THAAAAAT
Pure Comedy. Boring, uninspired drivel on ever front. It has none of the charm I Love You, Honeybear did. I thought the new Ty Segall release would be the most disappointing to me, but this just dethroned it.
>>74522466
most disappointing release of the year*

>>74517614
solid rock album on the tail-end of the "alternative" heyday
>>74518888
checked
Socialist is a great song and still my favourite from that album, despite never really getting into P.I.L.
>>74518940
I prefer his '63 (Samba Esquema Novo), '67 (Silencio no Brooklin), and '76 (Africa Brasil) albums
"O Telefone Tocou Novamente" is the standout track, IMO
>>74522450
messy album (kind of the point), but a classic
>>74522646
>>74522637
never really got into these
>>74522652
Torn is a solid pop track, but now I can't hear that song without calling to mind Xgau's review where he says:
>Not only is she extraordinarily pretty without being too blatant in her babitude, she's got the brains and will to make up her own songs (and did I mention how pretty she is?).
