Who made it? Any markings on it? It could be nice with a honey stain.

Here's what you do, but a prebuilt neck, some pickups, a bridge, whatever wires, potentiometers, etc you need to finish it. Then sell it for $1500. Go to your local guitar shop and ask them if they want to hang it up on their wall and offer them a $100 commission on it.

PS the rest of the shit you buy for the bass has to be of a decent quality obviously
