What other artists sound like the early Post-Punk Death in June, other than Crisis, of course?

The Ex - pokkeherrie
It's hard to find someone with a similar vocal style to DIJ

Somebody recommend a good Death in June album to start on.

I think most start with But What Ends When the Symbols Shatter?, but I think the compilation album DISCriminate is probably a better overview of their career as a whole (up to when it was released, at least)
Weltuntergangsstimmung by Kiss the Anus of a Black Cat shares influences from Nada!

Listen to these
>Lesson 1: Misanthropy
Superior versions of their earliest songs.
>93 Dead Sunwheels
Superior versions of the best Nada! songs.
>Brown Book
What Douglas P describes as the first "neofolk" album.
>But What Ends When The Symbols Shatter
The definitive DI6 album. If you like it, also try Roseclouds Of Holocaust
>Black Whole Of Love
Often overlooked little release featuring different verions of Symbols & Clouds songs as well as Leopard Flowers, one of DI6's most beautiful songs.
>The Snow Bunker Tapes
Neofolk versions of Peaceful Snow songs, Dougie calls the style "totenpop". It is much more stripped down production-wise than Roseclouds, Symbols or Black Whole Of Love and closer to the 2005-2008 re-recordings of those songs.
After that, just explore on your own. DI6 has a huge and rewarding discography.

Strength Through Joy or Cult Of Youth or whatever their name is. They're also on NER.
