So my ipod was accidentally obliterated and I need a new device to listen to music. I was debating whether to buy another grossly overpriced ipod or put my music on my phone. The thing is, music takes up a huge amount of storage space if I were to have it on my phone. And my battery is pretty shitty too, which means it constantly needs to be recharged. I'd rather have an ipod but second hand electronics aren't always trustworthy. Any suggestions? What device do you use?

Data plan is shared between family, and I'm more interested in having actual files of my music, just feels more personal as well as don't need internet access
