Mac Miller. I literally thought he was trash for years and still stand by everything before Watching Movies being total shit.

But when I downloaded Watching Movies and heard this come on.

It made me look at him differently. It's like he finally decided, fuck it I'm going to only dedicate myself to this rapping and production shit. And it paid off, that's just a great album and still his best work. Then he dropped that Faces mixtape, brilliant mixtape.

He just seemed to switch everything up that time in his life, working with Earl, Vince, Schoolboy, pretty much everyone in LA knows Mac Miller now and they all say the same thing - He never leaves his studio. That time around 2013, after this disastrous reception to that Blue Slide Park water asscheek music he must have said he never wants to make something that shitty ever again and lucky for him he hasn't.

I wouldn't say he was naturally a talented or gifted rapper/producer but he worked his ass off since then and it's paid off for him. I got no hate for him anymore.

If you want to check him out, I'd suggest Watching Movies and Faces. The Divine Feminine is nice too, but it really is just an album about how great Ariane Grande's pussy is.
