I mean, I suppose my ambient stuff is just a modified version of Brian Eno. The difference is, I had never heard any Brian Eno before I started making records.

So basically, what he's saying is that it's a good thing that he didn't know of one of the most popular artists of all time, and a bad thing that Oasis did? How does this make any sense? He's taking way too much pride in being a massive plebeian.
