Which Wu-Tang solo album does /mu/ think is best? I've always vouched for pic related myself, but I've found most people - reviewers, radio personalities (or at least my local ones) and the like - prefer Only Built 4 Cuban Linx. I can certainly appreciate OB4CL's influence on the genre, but Liquid Swords had incredible tracks start to finish - Liquid Swords, Gold, Labels, Investigative Reports, and Swordsman come to mind - while OB4CL had a lot of "filler," or weaker tracks buoyed by the overall album in my opinion - for instance, Knuckleheadz, Glaciers of Ice, and to a lesser extent Guillotine/Swordz.
But anyway that's just my opinion; what do you guys think?

you're right OP, Liquid Swords is clearly the best
OB4CL has too much filler and isn't as tight to be as good as Liquid Swords
killah priest - heavy mental
i love most wu stuff except, rza and some u-god.

liquid swords is overrated. even gza himself said he didn't come correct on it
supreme clientele and cuban is superior.

i was really disappointed by tical, and meth was probably my favourite member based on 36 chambers
pic related on the other hand, always gets slept on

I was with you until you listed the tracks you thought were filler, those tracks are all fantastic, wu gambinos and Wisdom god are much weaker, and Raekwon himself didn't want Ice Cream on the album because it didn't fit the themes of the album. Still a great album though.

The older I get the more I'm convinced ODB is the best rapper in the clan.
I always thought Tical was underrated as well. I like how short it is and that there are few features. I wish RZA stuck with the style he used on that album longer.

many people think it's too psychotic
Best? I dunno. Favorites? Liquid Swords or Tical.
