I don't particularly care for his newer stuff, but I'm pretty sure he links to stuff often on his twitter, so dig through that. There's obviously madeon who he's constantly compared to, though he has a poppier style. Still artsy and super authentic though. soundcloud is littered with people trying to imitate his style, you can find a lot ""worldsy"" tracks pop up on the porterrobinson sub on reddit occasionally. Good luck

Ive only listened to their top two songs, but what drew me to porter is has to do with a lacl of those heavy breakdowns. I don't really know the term for it, but i think that's what you meant by agressive. Really cool style otherwise. Almost like electronic meets zelda

Literally listen to any future bass song on soundcloud. Every future bass producer has a huge boner for Worlds era Porter and try to copy his style as much as they can without getting called out. Monstercat would be a good place to look.

If you want some good shit that probably influenced Porter at some point, listen to Dead Cities, Red Seas, and Lost Ghosts by M83 and Before the Dawn Heals Us by the same artist in no particular order. M83 was on the synthy textured shoegaze sound years before anyone else
