Thoughts on this iron and wine + Calexico album. I think it's perfect.
I love Calexico (The Black Light through Feast of Wire are some of my favorite albums of all time), but I've never heard Iron and Wine before. Will I like this?

You will love it. The dude from iron and wine has a great voice but his own music is just indie folk acoustic shit and it's alright. But Calexico took it to another level for him and it's a match made in heaven.
My dad likes Calexico, I should show this to him.

Listen to the album with him. Smoke a fatty. It's chill and psychedelic. Slide guitars and shit.

Awesome, I'll check it out.
Anyone happen to like The Sadies? I figured this would be the type of thread to mention them in because it's impossible to actually have a thread on them. If you haven't heard them their first couple of albums are very reminiscent of Calexico's sound but with some more surf rock guitar thrown into the mix: https://thesadies.bandcamp.com/album/precious-moments
