>I'll never be able to listen to all the music there is in the world
My favorite album might not even be my favorite. What's the point?
>sometimes I go home and make a beat instead of staying out with my friends
>it ends up being one of my favorites
>start thinking about all those nights out I could've been making some of my best work instead
>those tracks will never exist
>I never even thought them up

I've had the same feel, but I realized that I've had the same favorite album for the past 7 years. Does there come a point that an album means so much to you, after so long, that you can't have a new favorite album?
Maybe if other albums came along at a different time they'd be above your current favorite...

Just like "true love," "favorite albums" dont exist.
They're simply what you enjoy the most at that current moment
some people have the same favorite, or true love, for their entire life. Good for them. But that doesnt mean there isnt an album they'd replace their favorite with.

It really doesn't matter, most of it is trash.

You can't compare love to favourite albums. A favourite album is like a lost artifact. Maybe you'll find it maybe you won't. Love is something that you can actually build upon and make better.
