Only good answer that will be posted
Not only does Echoes sum up the entire human existence, the album is extremely varied in it's sound as well.
This album covers, psychedelic, blues, metal, pop, folk...

Holy shit this. Bez has resplendent taste

Revolver tbqh. Its the greatest album of all time.
nothing, because you're speaking nonsense
>>74352909
Well yeah you could say Echoes experimented with noise/ambient whatever in the middle section. The truth is I have no idea how the made up genres only relevant on places like /mu/ actually work as far as applying them to early concepts.

>>74352982
These two are also good choices.

Greatest Pop album for sure
Is I'm Only Sleeping their best song?
Only visual media can be art.
>>74353080
No, Rain is. The best song on Revolver is Here There And Everywhere or maybe Tomorrow Never Knows. I'm Only Sleeping is a gem though and underrated in the grand scheme of things.

I think a little thing called the dictionary would disagree with you pal.
The band is at their most democratic and densely interlaced, at the peak of their communal playing prowess. Everyone solos: no one solos. It's like they're communicating with each other telepathically. Listening to this is like delving into the mind of the band members. Suzuki is but an "evanescent sprite" who is there to enhance the music as the band creates their own soundscape. It is above all the culmination of human expression.

This but unironically
>If there has been anything in the history of popular music which could be described as a work of art in a way that people who are involved in other areas of art would understand, then Trout Mask Replica is probably that work
-John Peel

MADMADCHESTER
19 tracks, 53 minutes, not a single down moment. Rain Dogs is the most awesome musicology lesson with the greatest singer-songwriter of all time as the MC.
