First off, those sites are horribly inaccurate, second, who cares about making money from music? I make music because it's something I enjoy doing, i'm certainly not making any "fat stacks" off of my painfully bland indie rock.

Seriously why? Like I understand how it would be awesome but if you go in with the mindset that you can earn a living making music then you fucked up already. Most people make music because they want to, not because it's an easy way to make money. If that was the case you should have gone to school for a STEM degree
