What's so special about this album? I thought it was good

additional bump because i've only heard it twice in the past and although i enjoyed it, i would like to see other people who adore it explain why they love it personally so i have another perspective to consider while listening to it and ultimately incorporate it into my tastes

Tbh I only thought it was good at first but it only got better with each listen. I suppose the sense of loneliness/claustrophobia/existential dread gets more palpable each time.
The riffs on top of this. They really are some of the creepiest I've ever heard

Then there's the whole historical context, being math-rock/post-rock in 1991. Idk it's just really stuck with me over the years since I first heard it.
