Why do people have such a raging hard-on for this song?
It's alright, but I just don't get how loved it seems to be.

Muh different sounding parts
because its the only song to not use a standard verse chorus structure that the general public still like. It gives them the excitement of listening to experimental music without listening to experimental music

because its good don't question it it works

Because it's basically an entire hero myth written as a song. There's no chorus, and nothing is repeated, with several tempo and key changes featuring a shit ton of different chords. It's also quite literally the hardest song for anyone to sing correctly, without fucking dying on stage. The complete musical experience.
