Found a fella that's selling a Pro-ject 1 Xspression for £170.
>Belt driven first generation model with carbon arm and Ortofon OM10 stylus.
Looking to get into records, so was gonna pick up a few, that and some speakers/amp. Anything else I'll need? Or even recommendations for a half-decent, decently priced amp/speaker?
I was thinking of the Pro-ject 1 Xspression plus:

the speakers are fine, I'd get a 'proper' amp/receiver though since the tiny ones like that almost never have a phono preamp which you'll need to use the turntable.
so save yourself the hassle of using a dedicated phono stage by just getting a bigger amp which will also provide you some extra inputs in case you want to use something else than the turntable and a headphone amp with not too much additional cost, especially if you're going used.
