I hate my fucking city. Why can't we have a bigger music scene? We've got a population of around 200 000 but we only have a few bars that accommodate live acts, which makes it harder to get anywhere if you're starting a band. We also barely ever get any good bands that pass through town, besides some some small bands from other places in Canada. We're getting GnR in August which is decent I guess but I still want more good acts. Maybe our promoter is just shit at booking good people. I guess that's what I get for living in an irrelevant capital city in an irrelevant province. I wish I lived in a bigger center, or maybe even someplace in the states. It's frustrating as fuck /mu/
