Not in the slightest, what's ironic in a sense is that many of those who share a particular affinity for hip-hop tend to study the more artistic subjects in college/ university rather than STEM which is currently facing a skills shortage. Teaching English through showing students clips of say the Wu-Tang Clan is at most only going to encourage a particularly small proportion of students to take English Language/ Literature courses which could prove unreliable in the job market. And they would not really educate viewers on meters or language devices either.
