What is /mu/'s opinion on the album "Awaken, My Love!"

Honestly surprised Redbone is as popular as it is with normies. I do like it myself, Zombies is one of my favourites alongside California.

Half the tracks are great the other half are terrible.

Redbone is by far the best track. But it's essentially just a Bootsy Collins rework.

Thought about half the songs were pretty good, even if that's mostly because it reminds me of Maggot Brain. I haven't listened to it since its release really, but I probably won't never listen to it again.

Redbone made it up there for me as one of my favourite songs in the past few years.

Really bad.

Redbone, Me and Your Mama, and Riot are the only good tracks, but even they can't savage this fucking dumpster fire. Everything is fucking awful. I actually felt fooled when I first heard the album after loving the singles before.

He's an idiot if he doesn't stick to this style from this point onward
