I know that retrieving listening data doesn't require getting a session ID, but in your messing around with the last.fm API, have you been able to do that successfully? I keep getting an error code 13, suggesting that the md5 hash I'm submitting is incorrect.

What's more, I've tried using a few other tools that other people have written, and they return the same error as well, suggesting that something changed on the server side.

Something fucks up at step 4 here:

I can generate the user authentication request link fine, and when I click it, it says "do you want to enable access for <my app>" fine and everything, but then when I try to get a session with https://www.last.fm/api/show/auth.getSession I'm told the method signature is invalid.

How is it romanized?

On slsk nothing comes up for the cyrillic, and "strange games" doesn't result in it either.

Just used retrofit, gson, and regular java objects to handle the networking and data loading/handling

I made a python version for practice and used py-last (I think) for that. There's a Java library too but I didn't want to add bloat to the APK size
