I am not a racist, I am not American. But I dislike Rap (I consider it closer to being some kind of performance of poetry and not actual music with singing, melody, harmony) and I think it was only allowed to grow because White Americans did not want to be seen as racists, and therefore refrained from telling Blacks in the 80s that that new thing they were doing was shit.

Before the 80s you would have had a good argument for blacks being better than whites at music, from Jazz to Stevie Wonder, Earth Wind and Fire and Prince. But blacks ruined themselves with rap.
