I'm wearing m50x's right now and they're great, although they're also my first set of real headphones so I can't really compare. I'm told a lot though m30x's are still a great choice for people on a budget.

I know people (who probably all make more money than me) who are like you and buy 25€ headphones then always complain that every year they need to buy a new pair because they broke. Even use that as excuse to get them as cheap as possible "because they'll break anyway".

Meanwhile in the last 15 years I've bought
3 pairs of earbuds
First pair lasted 7 years (and it was the replacable cable that broke but I wanted an upgrade), other 2 still work like new (again wanted an upgrade).
and 2 pairs of headphones 200+
Both work.

And it's not like I haven't been rolling around the gutter drunk wearing them.
