The album is really gorgeous too IMO, the songs blur into each other a bit but its so dreamy and I love it...

If Black Marble - It's Immaterial where Black, then Images is white, is how I'd describe it.
It's distant and dreamy, but also floaty and sweet.

Really good album OP, definitely one of my favorites for the year. Pic related is my favorite track. As far as shoegaze goes I'm still really digging the new Deafcult. I would say Secret Wisdom and Rubix are the best cuts on it.

That's a good one, if you're enjoying his work so far I'd definitely recommend it.

He also has some more projects. If you love the atmospheres of his music and can handle ambient pacing, then Loveliescrushing's album Bloweyelashwish is very nice. There's also Star, which is a Cortez project with a faster pace and cutesy twee-pop-esque songwriting.

Devastator is one of the best shoegaze albums ever though.

It's a little poppy, but the instrumentation is fantastic and Shannon Roberts is an incredible songwriter.

Deafcult, a band from Queensland Australia, with such a huge dense sound. I saw them live as a support band and I had never heard of them prior and they were so good. Definitely worth a listen.
