What do you think about Niandra Lades and Usually just a T-Shirt and John Frusciante's solo stuff?
Always wanted to hear opinions, in my case John firsts album is my favourite shit ever.

not a fan
Niandra Lades is a very unique album. I like some of his other work, but none of them truly capture or are like Niandra Lades. It is a really great album and shows the creativity of someone in an absolutely terrible situation mentally and physically.

OP here, that's why i love it, never heard of anything that sounds like this album, some people claim that Syd Barret did similar things in the past but to me it is just not even a similar style.
Hearing John's first two albums for me is like hearing how emotions sound, just a person expressing and no marketing-musical complexity-achieving a certain style shit...

My favorite Frusciante. It's so fragile and real that it doesn't seem like it should exist.
Watch the interview he gave during his isolation for added effect.

I think that album is the closest thing to heroine anyone will ever record. It's unique in that sense. The instrumentals are fantastic. It would be really cool if it had the same production value as a chillis album.

Fantastically haunting song.
