She's a mediocre singer and an awful songwriter, and no amount of production work can fully hide that.

The absolutely retarded ranking aside, it's a good starting off point with some plain mainstream masturbation (putting Taylor Swift on there). Plus it's very anglo-centric as it always goes, safe for the occasional [insert biggest album of an african/south american starlet]. There's plenty more good stuff, but as long as it raises awareness.

Victoria Legrand is one of the few cases of female songwriters where I don't think "well thats' good, for a chick" in the back of my mind. She's much better than most male songwriters.
