All in the Full Indomitable Light of Hope Pt II makes me cry. As True as Troilus is also a good song. Very tense.

Were there any post rock albums that tried to do the same thing as this? With how easy sampling is nowadays, i'm surprised how little this style has been attempted to be replicated. At least Slint had A Minor Forest, June of 44, and Rodan, what does this have?

More on the shoegaze side but they have a similar knack for huge sounds and punishing repetitive chords.
