What's the deal with Spotify? Do you guys use it?
I made an account this week and I'm finding that it's like a really shitty version of soundcloud/mixcloud or youtube.
If I want to find a mix that involves a particular song, I can't. If I want to find a mix of a particular artist, there is basically no way to guarantee a playlist is even tangentially related to the genre. I put on some sunny lax (trance) which went to progressive house, and five tracks later was on Massive Attack.
That's to say nothing of the genres themselves. Deep House on spotify is basically pop EDM
Does it just take a while to know how to work it or is spotify shit?

You have much to learn, young grasshopper.
Try Pandora
>listening to a single genre
The spotify algorithms have determined you have shit taste and are trying desperately to get you to listen to something better, hence the massive attack recommendation
soundcloud is for plebs wanting to listen to up and coming trash mumble and electronic.
There is some underrated okay stuff
Spotify is for albums you pleb

Spotify is shit. Discover your own music organically and not because some algorithm told you you would like it
